Photoupload v0.4

A new version is available, a few changes in this version:

* Support for uploading to exsisting photoset
* Retry on errors
* Updated to version 1.2 of flickrNet, due to changes in flickr API (changed from GET to POST), caused an error when creating a photoset
* More space for statusfield/error messages

  • I were having problems with Uploadr and then I found Photoupload, and it is great, not only works (wich currently can not be said of uploadr) but do it better. The "create set" feature is my favorite.

    Now, some comments:

    - Why does PhotoUpload (PU) uploads the photos in no particular order? (or is it flickr who don't use any logic order)?
    - I started PU, selected the pictures, tell it to create a set and when I hitted "upload" it froze until the work was completed. I'm using Win XP.
    - I think it would be great if it have a progress bar (maybe it does but I can not see it because of my "frozen" problem).

  • It'd be cool if you could you spice up this blog with some screen shots. Especially when it's so easy with your tool to put pictures on flickr now :).

  • Our state government agency has a collection of 2,800 photo images (scanned from slides) that we plan to upload to a Flickr photostream. Each photo has IPTC information associated with it (title, author, metatags and comment) that we would like to transfer along with the image in the upload process. Flickr's uploading procedures don't seem to do that. Does your software allow that?
